Well House #4 Water Filtration Project

Construction improvements at Well House 4 Water Treatment will be completed in April 2026. The well house now has filtration devices to enhance the water quality provided to residents by removing iron, manganese and radium from source supply wells.  The project includes a standby emergency generator, a backwash recovery system and monitoring capabilities. This project will improve drinking water quality, enhance site efficiencies and increase resiliency of the overall water system for the City of Otsego. Well House 4 is located adjacent to the Riverwood National development at 10000 90th Street. 

This project is funded by Environmental Protection Agency Community Grants, the Minnesota State Revolving Fund, and Minnesota Emerging Contaminants Grants and water rates.
