Well House #3 Water Filtration

Completion: Summer 2028

Construction improvements at Well House 3 Water Treatment will be completed in Summer 2028. The well house will receive filtration devices to enhance the water quality provided to residents by removing iron, manganese and radium from source supply wells.  The project includes a standby emergency generator, a backwash recovery system and monitoring capabilities. This project will improve drinking water quality, enhance site efficiencies and increase resiliency of the overall water system for the City of Otsego. Well House 3 is located in the Kittredge Crossing Development, across from Kaleidoscope Charter School.

Funding support is provided by Environmental Protection Agency Community Grants, the Minnesota State Revolving Fund, Minnesota Emerging Contaminants Grants and water rates.
