The Lefebvre Creek Greenway and Park sits on land once farmed by the Lefebvre family, whose stewardship began in 1902 when John Lefebvre purchased 80 acres and started a legacy of conservation-minded farming that lasted four generations. From buffer strips along the creek to windbreaks that still stand today, each generation advanced sustainable practices to protect the land. As development grew, the family sold the farm in 2000, but their commitment to conservation lives on through Lefebvre Creek Park and Greenway—a lasting tribute to their dedication to the land and community.
