The Otsego Photography Contest highlights the talent right here at home. Share life in our community through your lens!
Whether it’s a stunning sunset, a hidden gem, or everyday life in our neighborhoods—your photos tell our story. Submit your best shots for a chance to be featured and win great prizes! Let’s capture the beauty of our Otsego city together. Photos may feature:
Places: Community events, local landmarks, buildings, streetscapes, etc.
Nature: Flowers, wildlife, weather, parks, the sky, and more—anything that captures Otsego’s natural beauty.
Contest Details
• Open to Otsego residents, students, and businesses.
• All photos must be original and taken within Otsego city limits.
• Submit up to five photos (color or black and white) in .jpg format, using this naming format:
Photo caption, first initial and last name of photographer, and .jpg (Example: RiverJDoe.jpg)
• Previously submitted contest photos will not be accepted.
• Minor digital enhancements are allowed, but heavily edited or unnatural images may be disqualified.
• Participants must sign and submit a waiver, available on the City website.
• Entries are due by 5:00 p.m. on Friday, September 1, 2026.
Voting & Recognition
• Online voting will be open from Friday, September 4th to Wednesday, September 30, 2026 at 5:00 p.m. on the City’s website.
• In-person voting will take place on Saturday, September 12, 2026 during the Otsego Prairie Festival & Car Show.
• The photo with the most votes will win a $100 prize and be recognized at an upcoming City Council meeting!
The winning photo will be featured in the Winter edition of the Otsego View newsletter, and all submissions may appear on the City’s website, social media, newsletters, or brochures. Ready to share your snapshots of Otsego?
